Palucca is a tough one, i feel. Even though I found this beautiful Serenata piece of her, my dance does Not fit her style. Does it fit anyone? In comparison To Mary Wigmans performance, the Style of Gret Palucca seems very difficult. Because I used to go to Palucca school in 2001-2002, I placed her at the "Haus des Lehrer" where I got beautiful recordings. The Lights at this building is amazing and fits the minimal movement of the dancer. Palucca created her in own dance school in Dresden, which is a very recommended school in Germany.
I had my first dance lesson at the audition for the school, and had never really danced before. Because of having so much fun and acrobatic skills, I got accepted into the school. The school still had an east influenced teaching background and was quite a culture shock.
There we're three movements in the school fighting against each other. The Russian Vaganova teachers, the modern dancers coming from the west and the old students from Palucca who tried to keep up her technique and Improvisation Style. One of them is Hanne Wandke who also was my Improvisation teacher. You hear her in my video describing the rigorous personality of the artist. I wonder how many students must have felt groomed by Palucca . The grooming process is quite natural in this dance environments. Many students and colleagues of mine a still suffering from Post traumatic stress syndrome and so do I.
Since her Performance seemed a little pure to me, I needed to spice it up with some witchcraft. The sound collage includes grooming witch Abby lee miller, Mischa Barton and Dahlia from the Taquali twins. I was googling the name of the most powerful witch, and it showed up the name "Dahlia".

So you learn something from my Video, Palucca and "Das Haus des Lehrers" I mention the six types of emotional abuse.

There is a YouTube Game around two twins called Dahlia and Dia which goes heavy into grooming. The twin with the Name Dahlia is missing and grooming in a hacker house to escape her toxic family situation. Her sister Lima has a mental health program where she is signing people up for conservatorship. Also, Bam Margera from Jackass got in the spider web of Lima, and it seems like it is all about incapacitation. I did not want to mention these staged YouTube games but since Palucca gave me a clear sign here we go.
I really like the name Dahlia and will use the slogan "Dancing with Dahlia" for my video playlist.

Last night, I was dreaming about Gret Palucca because of the fever the video gave me. She gave me a Bell jar in my dream, which was quite interesting. There was also a lot of dancing, height and flying going on in my dream.

Marianne Symbol
Marianne Symbol
My story with the name Marianne is dedicated to my friend at Palucca school, Dresden. Marianne was going to the boarding school of Palucca since she was a little kid. Her mother was also a dancer, and she was for filling the problem child narrative at the school. Her mother always threatened us with becoming a baker if we gain weight or fail exams. It is funny because Marianne last name is Koch (Cock) like the Nazi witch from Concentration camp Buchenwald Ilse Koch. Even though Marianne was a very talented dancer, teachers always asked her if she is really sure that she wants to be a dancer at all. This poor little ballet students at Palucca school must have felt groomed badly. For her Intermediate diploma, Marianne choreographed a duet on the Moby song "run on". I fell in love with the dance and her cute face impression. After her diploma, Marianne and I audition for Cod arts in Rotterdam, where we both got accepted. We moved to Rotterdam, but we both did not like it there. At this time, Marianne was going through a ruff brake up with her boyfriend. To overcome, she bounded with my mother, who drew water symbols on Glass coasters to clean the water and set her free. Marianne is truly an aqua girl because she lives with her husband at the sea and spends most of the time on a boat. When Marianne and I lived in Rotterdam, we had this incident with watermelons. Someone threw watermelons out of the window, which almost hit us. Did you know that the watermelon is a symbol for the free Palestine movement? What is your story with grooming, symbols and the name Marianne?
Anne Leading
Anne Leading
My story is about two dancers with the name Anne. One of them is Anne Jung and the other one Anne Retzlaf. Anne Jung was a dance colleague of mine at HfMT Cologne. The story is about the misunderstanding of gender roles in dance. In third grade of HfMT I've got the chance to dance a duet with Anne Jung. It was a duet about the Crow in Shuberts Winterreise. If someone can dance a swan or crow, it is Anne. I also always had to dance a swan. It seemed that Swan lake was the only Piece I was dancing in during my time as a dancer. The rehearsals of the "Crow" duet were such a reality check for me when it came to leading the duet. I thought because of being the man, I would lead and dominate the work process. It was outrages how fast Anne and the choreographers Emanuele Soavi and Massimo Gerardi shifted the power all to Anne. After one or two rehearsal it sunk in my head and lead to a certain kind of codependency friendship between us. Anne was always the favorite dancer of the teachers and choreographers. She was never really able to create choreography, though. Maybe this is where the misunderstanding is coming from. With me, it was the other way around. Like with the dancer Anne Retzlaff, who was also more of a choreographer. She was one of the few dancers who really inspired me because of her creativity and funk. She gave us first inputs about how life in Berlin works. There are funny stories she told us. One of them was that she cleans for living, and it pays very well. I was really shocked to hear that a dancer with her status has to clean for living. Anne Retzlaf did a lot of pieces in the free performing art scene. She also was dancing with the Ensemble of Komische Oper in Berlin. The Komische Oper has a unique contemporary company you should check out someday. What is your story with the name Anne?
