Diotima Flyieng

My story about the name Diotima is dedicated to a Kindergarten friend with the name. Diotima has a very creative spirit, considering her mother is from Mexico. When Diotima and I were kids, there was a competition between our fathers, who are true millionaires. Her father is a philosophy professor, and I was an engineer. We dominated this tournament while playing a rigorous monopoly session. I directed Diotima to vaulting, just as Lisa had sent me there. Diotima described jumping atop a horse for the first time as similar to flying. She reacted in the same delighted manner when we took her to Austria when she saw snow. I also took her horseback riding and had her canter on a pony named Sonja. She once fell off Sonja in a cornfield, breaking a tear. It was really painful for both of us because she was unable to breathe for a moment. Her parents once took me on a vacation to Hungry, leaving us on a horse farm.
